Patient and Family Partnership Council
We are committed to continually improving the quality and services offered at US Naval Hospital Yokosuka. The most valuable feedback we receive comes from you – the members of the Yokosuka community, and the patients and families we serve. Because your experiences and ideas are important to us, we invite you to consider becoming a part of our new Patient and Family Partnership Council.
The goal of this council is to provide a channel for the diverse members of our community, patients, family members and/or friends of patients, and health care professionals to discuss and collaborate on ways to make USNHY the best Military Treatment Facility it can be.
How can you help the council? Perhaps you have been a patient here, and you have specific suggestions that would improve patients’ experiences? Have suggestions about ways to help improve quality, service and safety for our patients? Or perhaps you have ideas about the kind of information that would be helpful to receive prior to a hospital visit?
If you are interested in sharing your thoughts and ideas with us on an ongoing basis, and in working with hospital employees and managers to enhance the service, quality, safety and patient care at USNHY, we’d like to hear from you!! Fill our and submit our application form.
Once applications have been reviewed, selected candidates will complete an interview process. Those chosen for the council will receive information about orientation, meeting times and locations, and other details. If you have questions, please call us at 243-8627.
Thank you for considering this invitation to be part of the ongoing mission to maximize the readiness, health, and well-being of our patients and their families in Japan, Korea, and Diego Garcia. We look forward to hearing from you!
