Patient and Family Partnership Council

We're committed to continually improving the quality of services offered at U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka. The most valuable feedback we receive comes from you: members of the Yokosuka community, and the patients and families we serve. Meetings are open to everyone and are typically held the first week of each month.

Reminders from Our Commanding Officer

Be sure to complete your overseas suitability screening once you are able. Overseas screenings are required for active duty and their family members who are coming to Yokosuka, anyone doing repeat tours here in Yokosuka (or anywhere in Japan) and for individuals & families transferring to other OCONUS commands. Even if you are stationed overseas, you (and any dependents on your orders) will need an up-to-date overseas suitability screening prior to PCS’ing to another overseas duty station.  

Each department at the hospital has a customer service representative that is here to listen to any concerns, answer questions and advocate for the well-being of our patients. While each department has their own representative, any representative would be happy to assist you (all customer service representatives are pictured on the bulletin board between the pharmacy and the galley). If you would like to get in contact with the customer service representative for a specific clinical space, please ask the front desk staff or call DSN 243-8627.  

We encourage our patients to fill out ICE comments to let us know how we’re doing. We want to hear from you!
